My 4 year-old daughter beamed with joy as she stepped into the Magic Kingdom for the first time. I imagine that was my expression seeing Cinderella’s castle some 30 years before, when I was her age.
I vividly remember being 11 years old: the thrill of zooming through Space Mountain, the heart pounding suspense while visiting Haunted Mansion, and the unforgettable tune of It’s a Small World.
It was my husband’s child-like wonder and adoration for Walt Disney World that rekindled my love for it. We spent our honeymoon in “the most magical place on earth” and cruised on Disney Wonder’s maiden voyage.
The magic and wonder of Disney has always been a part of my family life. Walt Disney said, “We believed in our idea - a family park where parents and children could have fun together.” That’s exactly what Walt Disney World is for the Zebic's: a place where every moment becomes a cherished memory.

In 1975 my first memory of Walt Disney World was one of pure excitement. As a five-year-old I remember boarding the monorail with my family, and listening to Jack Wagner’s narration over the speakers, as the tip of Space Mountain and the spires of Cinderella’s Castle revealed themselves on route to the Magic Kingdom.
As the monorail zipped through the Contemporary Resort, I saw people walking around the hotel, having lunch, shopping, and I thought, “Wow! People can actually stay here?!”
I knew then, that I was hooked.
Even now, after 40+ years, having shared the experience with my family, and watching my own children’s enthusiasm, I still can’t shake that feeling.
